Hi,

My PW gun/hose started leaking at the weekend, and on taking out the plastic holder on the end of the gun, and taking the hose out of the gun the O ring on the end of the metal bit had fallen appart.

Do I just need this part and it will stop leaking through the gun handel or are there other bits i need to replace?

Or are there more O rings inside the gun?

Can I buy just the O rings or is it a new gun and hose time?

Also about 12 months ago the auto shut off system stopped working, and so the PW is on all the time. How is this fixed?

Thanks Rob

Hi,
I can find very little info about this model - no repair manual seems available. The fault is that there's no pressure . I've stripped the unit down to the gearing. The motor's OK but the nylon gearing is broken in several places ( a wheelset ?). It looks as if it should all be immersed in oil and I suspect the oil seal had gone which eventually caused the gearing to seize up.

So, can I buy a new gear set ?, is it a closed unit ? , or do I also need oil rings and oil ? How much will it cost ? is there a repair manual ? Is this info available somewhere on the internet?

Hi,
please forgive me ,this is the first forum I have ever used . So hopefully I'm in the right area to get an answer to a technical problem I have with my KARCHER B202.
The strainer( outlet which sits below the hosepipe inlet) has snapped of the machine and I need a replacement. I'm fairly sure I can fix it myself, But I am having trouble sourcing the right component. All the strainers I can find are "inline" The strainer on my machine has a right angle (on the end that connects to the machine, NOT the end that the outlet hose connects to) which is where the break has occurred.
So I need to source a "right angled" water strainer for a KARCHER B202 serial No,or NR: 042868 22202202
Can anyone help ?

If you want to post a picture within the text of a post in the Karcher Center Chemtec Forum you can do so quite simply, as follows:

1. You need to register with a photo hosting site to store your photographs. This is important as it means others will be able to see your photos even though your home PC may be switched off. I use Photobucket: http://photobucket.com/ as it is free, secure and they do not bombard you with adverts or emails. There are others out there - your choice.

2. Once you have registered you will have your own private photo album and you can upload your pictures from your PC. Go to your Photobucket album, click on 'Choose Files' from the 'Upload' box and navigate to your PC's pictures folder.

Choose the file(s) and click 'open'. Photobucket will do the rest.

3. You should now be able to see your photos in your Photobucket album but because it is password protected no one else can. You can edit the photos here and add titles if you want.

4. To include a link to your photo in a forum post go to your Photobucket album and hover the mouse pointer over the picture. You will see several boxes appear below the photo. The one we are interested in is in the IMG code box (NOT the IMG Thumb). Highlight the text, which will be preceded and end with 'IMG', and paste the link into your post.

Now BEFORE you click on the 'submit' button please click the 'preview' button to see if your picture appears correctly and where you want it. If so click 'submit'.

5. The free Photobucket account will allow you to upload thousands of pictures so there is no need to delete any. If you do they will also disappear from your posts, new and old, so leave them there for posterity!

6. You can create several discrete albums in your Photobucket and you can use the bulk uploader to add all your holiday pictures, for example. You can then just give your friends a link to your holiday album and they can flick through the pictures. A lot easier than emailing pictures to everyone.

Thanks,

Hi,

I have a Karacher K5.55 and whilst the unit is plugged in to the mains and
switched on and the water supply on, the pump is going on and off constantly
until you pull the trigger then in runs as normal. Any ideas what is wrong
with it and if so is it something that can be fixed economical.

I have clean the inlet filter and it has made no difference. Have also run
the machine without the lance and it pulses then too.

Regards,
