The machine keeps pulsating when in standby mode. It also seems to be less forceful than it was originally. I have bled the machine and water flows OK and when the power is turned on without the high pressure hose and gun attached it doesn't pulse. Any ideas?

Hi, can you tell me if the machine has a leak from anywhere? if not then you may have a crack in the internal outlet head on the machine

RE: K3.99 Pulsating
I have had the same issue with the same model. I have replaced the entire cylinder head. Now it doesn't leak at all but it surges under normal use. When the trigger is depressed the pump turns off and on constantly. Any thoughts on why it might be doing this would be appreciated.

Thanks.

RE: K3.99 Pulsating
Hi, firstly the machines only switch themslfs off when the reach 20 bar over the working pressure, this is telling me either the lance nozzle is blocked or the injector in the pump is.
Is your machine turning off without a lance on it? If not check the nozzle

Hope this helps

RE: K3.99 Pulsating
Thanks Steve.

The machine is fine with the variable lance on it at its low pressure setting. As I twist the nozzle to increase the pressure, the machine starts to pulsate. When I put the turbo nozzle on, I get the same pulsating.

I guess this means the injector in the pump might be blocked. Is this an easy thing to clean?

Thanks

Matthew

Hi matthew, sadly the injector is right inside the pump, firstly i would try descale the nozzles with a house hold cleaner or vinegar they may both be blocked

RE: K3.99 Pulsating
Hi Stave
I'll give it a go, but it also pulsates when I connect the patio cleaner and surely all three items cannot be blocked. I have taken the cylinder head apart again and checked it all. It all seems fine.
There must be a sensor somewhere that stops the pump when the pressure gets too hugh. Where is this? Could it be at fault?

RE: K3.99 Pulsating
hi, 2 of them maby 3 nope i agree,,, there is a valve that sits behind the chemical input on the pump this is what switches down the machine, check the springs not broken if not then the outlet head will need to be changed, let me know if the electric box on your machine is white or black and i will forward you a link to the part
